Sad news - Joe Wozney
I am sad to report that Joe Wozney passed away this morning in Reston, VA.
Joe was a long-time PCA member and more recently an active member and driving events chariman for the Greater Washington Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America (GWS-MBCA). I don't have any other details other than he suffered a near heart attack this past summer in Winchester, and had seemed to be recovering nicely. He did have some ongoing lung issues. He is survived by his wife Bobby and some grown children. I'll post more details as they become available. He was a great guy and will be sorely missed by all. Brad |
Joe was a great guy. I met him at several MB DE's . RIP Joe.

Sorry to hear this. I met Joe a few years ago since he's my sister-in-law's neighbor. He had/has a nice grey TL cab and the garage was open and we got to talking a bit. A few months later he and his wife were at my sister in law's halloween party and we were talking about how PCA was in the old days , like 20-30 years ago. I had hoped to one day capture some of this for a dV article, but never got around to it. He was responsible for setting up he MB events at the track and the autocrosses and invited me to come out, hence how we knew each other.
My condolences to his family. |
