I gotta brag a little
My Daughter joined the Army, yes my skinny little girl (those who have met her know what I mean).
She hasn't even been through basic training, and already gone up 2 steps in rank. She has done so much pre-basic training, she has earned the promotions. Today she was down at Ft. Brag for some extra PT and returned with a special recognition award from her recruiting office. I'm still not happy about her decision to join but I do support her and I am very proud of her desire to achieve. I am not, however looking forward to her being able to kick my ass. |
You should be proud. God bless her and her supportive family. My family wishes her very, very well.

We support and bless her, too. You may have mixed feelings, but I'll bet you're proud!

That is awesome. As Hunt said, God bless her and your family. You may want to show the Army the pictures of the e36 before they let her drive a Humvee;) In all seriousness, I have the utmost respect for any person that makes the decision to defend the USA. We wish her the best of luck when she goes through basic.

First off tell her thanks for serving.
My dad is at Bragg. He is retired AF but now working for the Army at Bragg as a civilian. Bragg has a ton of folks overseas right now. Sorry I had to edit this, I think it is great that she is getting bumped up, and I wish her the best. Even if she only does four years it will open tons of doors for her. |
That's great to hear. Good for her.

We need more young people in this country like your daughter. Thank her for serving and God bless.

My Daughter passes on a thanks for all the sentiments. She is wiped out today, but very excited, and chomping at the bit to go.
Her MOS is going to be MP:shock: She just wants to shoot all the "cool stuff". I winder where she gets that from? |
