Just curious - does it have the Carrera engine case?

Yes, she most certainly does! Engine Number 64D 5368...
Certificate Of Authenticity, of course... She was built at the very end of July, and actually cleared for shipment August 8th. Delivered by Holbert's P/A store in Warrington on August 25th, 1983... I have always been glad to be rid of that leaky "Taco Plate", having suffered with it for lo these many years in previous Porsches! Thought you might like a photo of the custom Portfolio that my dear wife had created for me (and the SC!) That is an original Porsche "SC" emblem that was gold plated and mounted on the leather. I have not decided if I will let that go with the car... a lot of sentimental value there! |
good looking car...good luck with the sale...tito
