Good car show Sunday 2nd, too!
 

If you miss the PCA Gathering at Reston (see that thread for details), or just need more car action, check out the free antique and classic car show Sunday, 10-3 (but many exhibitors leave by around 1 pm., so don't wait till after lunch). This annual event is organized by Washington Times's weekly "Out of the Past" editor, Vern Parker; it includes many of the over 1000 cars featured in his weekly Friday Times auto section columns over the past 20 years. Also featuring, this year, a new Audi R8 (Oh, my G..., the "Porsche Killer"!). Usually lots of great cars and trucks, incl. this week's feature, a 12 cyl. Lincoln limo, 1937 vintage. My 914 was in the column almost 2 years ago, so I'll be in the exhibit area-- and usually there are 356 and 911 examples, too-- and probably a nice yellow 912 that was in the column last fall. Free, as mentioned. At Springhill Recreation Ctr./Park, on Springhill Rd., just northeast of the Rt. 66 exit for Tyson's Corners, or up Old Dominion out of Arlington. Weather's supposed to be good, so come on out.
