[Sunday, May 27th] AutoX at Ripken Stadium

Looking for something to do this weekend... Well, come out to Ripken Stadium for the Chesapeake PCA Autocross #2 at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen... For those that have not been to this venue, it's a great place for an autocross...

Here's a link for more info: http://www.pcachs.org/autocross/autocross.html
Online registration is closed but you can register at the event...

I'm on the autocross team so I'll see you there... The wife is out of town so I'm taking her MINI Cooper Works out for some exercise

Hope to see you there... :D

Excellent day of autocrossing... The weather was great, the course was VERY fast and as usual I drove like crap... But I had a great time...

There were over 60 cars for this event... We had 3 heats of 5 runs each and finished up at 2pm...

Hope to see you at the next one on June 17th (hmmm, is that Father's Day)... I'll be there, what could be better than getting my butt beat on Father's Day...

Wow, that seems quite efficient, 60 cars, 5 runs, finish at 2 :) Was the course only 20 secs?

I wish I could make it, but had BBQ instead :D

I was following Derek in the 3rd heat... He set the best time of the day at 61.4 just edging out Dennis Howard at 61.8...

ME???? You gotta admit that MINI looks too damn cute... Good thing the wife was in Florida... I definately need to lose weight so I can improve it's power to weight ratio

I was never gonna beat Derek but at least I looked cute trying :D

Impressive 60+ sec course and 60 cars by 2 pm, I am truly impressed, must have a great organization.

I used to setup Minis for SCCA autox, they are really fun to drive they are moderately easy to setup too. Your version is probably factory setup and set, should just enjoy the driving :)
