Great Drivers Ed Intro
1 Attachment(s)
This attached file is a perfect introduction to DE.
It contains everything a new or relatively new DE participant needs to know, including handy checklists and a glossary of terms that will demystify at least some of the lingo you will hear at the track, and when bench racing with the boyz. This was written by Gary Church - senior Potomac Instructor, Zone 2 Chief Instructor, renowned racer, RUF pilot, and fortunate spouse of Betty Church, instructor par excellence. Its great value - make the best of it. |
Thank you, that was good reading.

HP is like any other drug. After a while, you need more.
I've spent a good deal of right seat time with Tom Falkenburg in the yellow ex-Tilos car, which delivers 650HP+ On a few occasions, the inlet boot has blown during a run, which kills boost and drops the HP to around 400 or so. When this happens, we immediately pull in. After all, what's the point of wasting time running with a wimpy 400HP, right? |

Nearly 2 years later (and almost 7 years old!)... a very valuable resource for someone just getting started; kudos to Gary for drafting and Tony for posting. Thanks for the head start to what is hopefully a long education. :)

Is there a schedule somewhere for this season's tech inspections?
