What class allows LS1 engines?

Thought this would be relevant to copy over from the earlier thread, first part by me, followup by Dirk.

PCA wants our cars (and racers) back. Not only is this Vintage race at SP to honor Alan Friedman and Potomac region, it is a first stab at getting our older Porsche race cars back into PCA Club Racing. It is hoped that the Vintage class will become popular and expand to other tracks. So if you know of an older Porsche racer car, please let the owner/driver know of this special event. Let's hope for a great turn out! Great reply Clarke, it was a "no brainer" for the DE committee when the idea was promoted that we drop the advanced DE for a vintage group to honour the original participants and 25 th continuous PCA Club Race. We never used to have a DE with the club race, and understand we might loose a few volunteers. Flagger/corner workers were not able to drive, a couple grid workers and a few workers in other positions could get away in time to drive, Sorry to those few!!
