SOLD: 2010 Pace Shadow GT Daytona 26' Enclosed Trailer

SOLD *** SOLD *** SOLD

I'm selling my one-owner 2010 Pace Shadow GT Daytona 26 foot enclosed trailer. (I've replaced it with a larger trailer so that Cindy no longer has to follow behind in a separate car :p )

I spec'd & purchased this trailer new in 2010. Below is a list of the OEM and Upgrades I've added to it:

OEM from factory:
  • 26 x 8 foot box w/7 ft ceiling
  • L-shaped factory cabinetry at the front, includes drawers and up/lower cabinets, and aluminum counter.
  • 12,000 lbs GVW; current empty curb weight is around 5,000 lbs (including cabinets, spare tires, winch, etc.)
  • Two 6,000 lb torsion axles with 16 inch 8-lug steel wheels
  • Insulated walls and ceiling
  • 3 under-floor storage boxes; 1 contains 12V battery and winch (remote cable controlled), but room for more.
  • Rubber-coin floor
  • E-track on floor and walls, recessed mounted.
  • 4 primary D-rings in floor for car tie down (in addition to E-track)
  • 4 foot side door, with PitPal cabinet on door
  • 20 ft manual canopy (was replaced 3 years ago when original was damaged in a wind storm.
  • 12V lighting on ceiling and low on wall, separately switched.
  • 120V fluorescent lighting on ceiling
  • Working AC on ceiling (blows hot and cold)
  • 2 manual roof vents (rear vent is reinforced and 120V wired for AC install)
  • 120V exterior lights and outlets
  • 12V electric tongue jack
  • Outside accessed vented cabinet, which I used for storage (can be used for generator).
  • Full width folding ramp on rear door.
  • Bogey wheels under rear frame
  • Manual telescoping support jacks under rear corners.
  • LED exterior lighting (including supplemental BackUp lights)
  • Emergency Brake battery was replaced this year, with one that includes battery condition tester on the case.

UPGRADES I've added:
  • 8 feet of tire-rack on wall (from Pit Products)
  • Vinyl curtains for side entry door
  • Closet rods at front & rear. Currently have a drop-cloth curtain on rear one. Front one is great for hanging jackets, race suits, etc.
  • 2 spare tire carrier installed at front of trailer
  • Installed utility light w/switch on tongue jack (powered via same key)
  • Roof mounted solar panel and control board to keep 12V battery charged
  • Added shore-power connection to outside of trailer, and modified 30' 50AMP cable with twist lock connector (OEM originally had the 50AMP cable hardwired to the 120V panel. Was stored inside lower front cabinet, and had to be fished thru a hole in the bottom whenever used (PIA). I've been storing the modified cable in the outside compartment; can now be easily removed and plugged into trailer
  • Added wireless remote control system for winch
  • Bracket on wall for hanging tie-down straps
  • Aluminum diamond plate added to lower exterior sides from the wheels back (unfortunate minor incident in the paddock with the nose of another trailer caused a tear in the exterior panel on one side. I decided adding the diamond plates was the most effective solution; much stronger if any future incidents)
  • Folding plywood rain cover over door cabinet
  • All 6 tires are load range E rated and less than 2 years old; both spares are still unused.

Asking price includes:
  • MD Inspection will be provided
  • Trailer will have hub and brakes serviced (by same shop doing Inspection).
  • Two NIB 12V powered MAXX FAN roof vents, with fans, that you can have installed (will fit in existing openings, but require running of 12V supply wire)
  • Heavy duty scissor jack which can be used to support the rear of trailer when parked
  • Weight distribution hitch & bars (already fitted to trailer)
  • Tongue lock
  • 2 complete sets of keys

Asking $15,000 (includes delivery within 75 miles). Right now this is only appearing on DORKI board, so PM me if you have any questions or would like to see it (located in Monrovia MD). Price is negotiable.

I have never actually weighed the trailer. But I believe the totally raw & empty trailer weighs in between 4,000 and 4,500 lbs. With the addition of cabinets, winch, 12V battery, 2 spare tires, etc., I estimate its weight (curb weight) is around 5,000 lbs.

I've been to so many track events where we hung out in and around this trailer, it's almost like watching the family home go up for sale.

Same. I hope they get a lot for Sis. I'll miss her, especially the smugglers storage in the floor but for the right price... I'll miss her!

I'm pretty sure you could build a 944 (not saying it would run mind you) from the nick knacks stowed away in the corners of that trailer. I would say 4K# empty and 11K# as is...

for reference, my Haulmark Edge race trailer which is same size and type with same level of upgrades is 5200lbs empty.....

In the spirit of the Holidays.......PRICE DROP.

Asking $14,000. Maybe even less to a good Dorki home. :)
