Sobering... In-the-car instruction is getting to be more of an issue. I love doing it, but if I had small children I'm not sure I'd be in the right seat.

Thread in a different forum indicated the driver had a heart attack and the instructor steered the car away from traffic braking for turn 1.

Explains the no brake lights.

"The driver’s side of the car hit a berm off the track before the car flipped.."

Apparently ... sounds like the driver may have had a medical situation that caused a fatal accident. It sounds like the driver died and the instructor was airlifted to a local hospital.

Lost control in turn one, slid side ways, rolled and landed on the roof. The driver was killed and instructor in critical condition
