FS: Craigslist 2007 C2S Cab
|
Sweet ride but the price is about 5k too high as the second round for the clutch is most likely around the corner. Id get a PPI, negotiate the clutch, and go.

That’s a nice looking car, and nice to see it’s been driven so much. I hadn’t realized it until seeing this, but it’s rare to see 100k+ miles on 997s, let alone 120+. Asking seems a bit high with that in mind and being a .1 cab.
Though if you’re going to commute to FL, looks like a fun way to do it. |

Hello,
Are you just passing this along or do you know the car and seller and vouching for them. Thanks, William |
I would think that a 997.1 with high milage and possible IMS issues would put this car at $23 to 25k imo.

Great question, just passing this along. I looked at the car today and took it for a quick drive. It seemed like a very nice car and the seller is cool. He seemed like a nice car guy, I just met him today. We are casually looking for a cheap convertible so I made him an offer in line with what has already been posted in the thread. With the miles I would insist on a PPI. He countered and I declined. I suggested that he post the car here. He signed up but had trouble posting so I cross posted his CL add. For comparison here is a BaT car that sold a few days ago with significantly less miles. If you depreciate the miles at .50 per mile that is right around what has been discussed. My .02. Many people use BAT to justify inflated asking prices. BAT is NOT the norm. But, with that being said, it's where I will be listing my M3 when I'm done with it.

Also, as you can see from my and Patrick 3000s gone pile, we have a pretty good idea what it takes to sell. :-)
