Need Reco for Module Rebuilding - BMW in this case

After many months of trouble-shooting a no-start on my BMW, I have come to the conclusion that I may have a bad DMU. I have researched places to get them re-built or fix but would like a reco it someone has one out there. Any Reco for a place to get it tested and fixed?

They usually aren't that expensive...never hurts to have a spare in case yours isn't bad...I would just see if i could source a used one and plug it in...or find someone with the same car and swap theirs in and test it...what is the car Hugh...I cant recall. if it is an 97-99 e36 you are welcome to try mine

Just to be clear, I am talking about the actual Engine Control Processor/Computer. Interestingly enough, the security software is resident in this computer and therefore not an easy swap without reprogramming - That of course is an option.
