The only person you have to please is yourself. If you like it then it will be great..my opinion.

Walk around the paddock at a Club Race and see how the different color interiors look with black race seats. I had black Recaro seats with my brown interior (Targa) and I though it looked fine.

I might do the black seats with burgundy stitching.. or what are your thoughts on buying the burgundy that is off in color ( $300.00) set and dyeing them the darker burgundy needed. Anyone ever dyed their seats ?

I talked to lseat.com about a darker burgundy .I sent them pictures of the swatch against my seat and the said they have a darker one. They sent pictures of what they have and will send me a swatch to compare ..they have been great with emails not so much with the phone.. I'll keep you posted..

Im interested how all this comes out. I need to have the leather seats in the 930 redone and considering going to sport seats. Have talked to classic9leathershop and they charge an additional $600 to convert if they are doing the labor. Was quoted $3200+ship all in to do a pair. Mine are that light ivory/tan color so hard to find.


Interesting that flat6project sells the conversion kits. I could DIY but, damn, I just don't have time. Very tempting to just send out.
