Need a car for son - Who's got a BMW taking up valuable garage space?
 

So my son has his learners so it's time to start to find an extra car. He may inherit my 11 year old Hyundai if I find a fun daily driver, or else I'm looking to find an older, lower horsepower car that needs some TLC. BMW's are a favorite of the family but really safety and serviceability are key factors. Please reach out if you have anything that may fit the bill!

Not sure your time frame but I will be selling my wife's manual e39 most likely in the fall. Its had almost every nut and bolt replaced over the past several years and would be a solid first car.

I'll be putting my (92yo) mother's 2001 BMW 325 manual wagon up for sale soon.

White/tan, less than 100k miles, new clutch, all records, bought new by my folks in Charlottesville.

Runs/drives fine. Issues are airbag light on and hunting idle I can't seem to make go away

Those are some great options. I'm gonna have to get serious about running around and looking at a few things soon. He's figuring things out, but not quite there yet.

No kidding, I think my truck is 270. But yeah, thats not winning any races either :)
