Wow, his injuries are much worse then suspected based on yesterdays information. Kudos to the emergency response team and best wishes on his recovery.

Wow. Been a while since we've seen an issue like this. These cars even have anti-intrusion bars on the wishbones. Really hard hit.

With the multiple intrusions, Hinchcliffe experienced massive blood loss at the crash site, and despite the gravity of the soft tissue injuries to his lower extremities, stopping the bleeding became an immediate priority for the medical staff to address once he was pulled from the chassis.

Yikes is right. Kudos to the EMS crew and the Drs who saved him. That was a nasty hit. 125G impact. I think that was more than Ralf Schumacher's hit at Indy in his F1 car.
