Track Insurance

Anyone else see this in their PCA newsletter?

"In February of 2011, we will begin offering a number of annual policy
options that provide coverage at a discounted rate for multiple events in a
policy year. Four different policy options will allow enthusiasts to choose a
package that matches their level of activity in HPDE events. Coverage will
be available at any approved track in the U.S. and Canada, and the policy
automatically extends coverage for up to $2,500 in additional modifications
made during the year. Coverage for a $20,000 vehicle participating in six
events or less per year can be purchased for a premium as low as $590."

Price seems pretty good for 6 events.

Indeed! Have to look into it this year.

What company is that with? It does seem very reasonable.

Don't forget the "Premium" for our beloved Summit Point!

I think I saw somewhere that it will be available in February some time. It looked like a good deal to me too.

i called yesterday. FYI the rep said that, while the teaser example is probably in the ballpark, they are unable to offer exact quotes nor can they yet cite specific terms, conditions, FAQ's, etc (e.g. what if you buy coverage, but then decide to quit the season 1/2way thru...can you cancel remainder?) at this time. they are "shooting for" 2/15 to have the program in place.

joep 01-20-2011 09:47 AM

Will it cover single day events for a smaller fee?
