Is there any interest in this VW motor? Unknown condition...hurry...

Ok some info...was running in a Carmin Ghia pulled for more hp motor. Motor ID B5099077 (68-69 1600cc). More pix.

FWIW, new, and I mean new, type 1 long blocks can be had, at times, for a grand. New VW pieces out of Mexico or Brazil.

DR, isn't your buggy a "duel port." This is a single port VW. By the model year, I'd guess a 1500.

I have nothing in this motor so I expect nothing out of it. Actually I saved it from the scrap yard,hence the hurry statement. I posted to see if there was anyone who needs one. It's yours for the price of gas to get it to you, if you want it. I do know that two of the push rod tubes are bent, rods unknown and from what I've been told, it ran when pulled. Let me know.
