Factory Fuchs - How Much?
Considering selling my Fuchs wheels with tires from my 1980 911SC which are not perfect but in really good shape. Wondering how much these wheels and tires are worth?
Front - 16x7 Rear - 16x9 Bolt Pattern - 5x130mm Tires - Bridgestone S-02 with 50% left on fronts and rears. Any price help would be appreciated. John |
$500 for the set, and I'll take them!
Actually, they're worth A LOT! The fronts, depending on condition, are worth $100-300 apiece, but the rears are hard to find. You can probably get $1000 apiece for them, according to what I've read on this board, if they're in really good shape, and at least $750 apiece for them. Peter |
I was able to buy new 16*9 for less than $800 each from Porsche last year. So, that may give you some upside benchmark. There are some wheel shops selling reconditioned Fuchs so you may be able to use them as a gauge.

Peter,
Need a little more than $500 for the set. Thanks again for the pricing information. John |
Spike,
Thanks for the information and next step I'm going take some pictures and get them listed on this site, Craigslist and Ebay. Thanks again, John |
I posted some Fuchs pricing info in the following thread:

Thanks Scott....

7x16's are not much money and if you can, you should make who ever buys the 9's take the 7's ;).. 9"s command lots of dough.. I would guess $1500 for 2 would still move them pretty quickly.

I bought a set of 16x7s and 9s last year for $2000. I searched high and low for several months before finding this set. They were in almost excellent shape (having been recently reconditioned) and had okay tires on them. So $1500 plus or minus for the 9s is probably not too far off.

FYI: Sunset Porsche is selling 9" x 16" Fuchs, NIB, for $740.00 per, plus shipping...
