MD/DC/VA 9/9/07 Car Meet (& Drive???)
 

Gentlemen & Ladies,

I think it's time for another car meet in the MD/DC/VA area. I say the date is Sunday, 9/9/07, but I think we can all be flexible. Let's try at least meeting in Virginia this time, maybe Kingstowne (Alexandria), VA. Let's get together an have some Moby Dick Kabobs. The Kingstowne Center just expanded and there are some other great restaurants to grab food as well like Firehouse Subs and Noodles & Co. How does that sound to everyone? Here's the address.

I'm a 'maybe' -- will be in town, but getting down to crunch-time in preparation for my vacation. Will have a new dSLR I need to play with though, so it may be a good opportunity.

I'd rather go to the Moby Dicks in G'burg or Rockville..... MD > VA

Another good choice might be in Tysons on route 7. One of the strip malls there has a starbucks and panera bread, etc...

I'm a "maybe". My fiancee is trying to emasculate me with a bridal show. I want to support her, but it's still a bridal show. I'm waiting to see how much she really wants me to go...

Sounds like you need to schedule a "groomal shower" - if she doesn't want to participate in that, then you have a good excuse not to go to the bridal shower. Sears actually has a tool registry for just such a thing. I went to one years ago, held in the guys garage. Beer and new tools - what's not to love? I wonder if snap-on has a registry...

I think Gina and I will be there with her new Audi RS4... Gotta keep the Roadster in the garage around then because I'm preparing it for the Concours Event at the Chesapeake Challenge...

I already told her that I plan on being at the track during the bridal shower. Not sure if there'll be a track event, tho. But we are registering for Home Depot (or Lowes) gift cards. Seriously. :)
