That's a heck of a "gurney" bubble on that roof ;)

Was present at Daytona in 1970 where Gurney bubble was born. Dan codrove 512 with Sam Posey; evidently missed the fitting session. Bump was applied ad hoc. Lead Wyer 917 driven by Jo Siffert and Pedro Rodriguez. Pictures buried under 30+ years of marraige somewhere. Group of PCAPers went down. I cruized down in a 70 911T.

Perhaps this photo should be in the "Fail" thread. Tires just placed on the roof to move around (s-l-o-w-l-y), non-matching wheels, driving a Targa on the track, and other "hidden" fails, too.
This bubble has been repaired, but is still present to a lesser extent.
