Correction. I believe he's Romanian. Fast drover. Believe he was promoted.

Correct on all counts.

no issue. He was parked next to me, and I've been his instructor before and recommended him for promotion to white. He's a really nice kid.

He does have mad car control skilz. I recommended him for promotion to black at the Shenandoah event. He got promoted, and afterwards he told me that he was driving at 9/10's when I was in the car, but only 8/10's when Brian was in the car. (smart move! :)

I know what you mean. I rode with him at Shenandoah and he was able and willing to drive close to the edge, 9/10ths to 10/10ths+. He rode with me too, and had some good suggestions. He needs to race!

He know's his strategy :-) He also does all the work/mods on his car. He has a FabSpeed race muffler and cats. Sounds great.

When he told me he was doing a Black checkout ride, I suggested that he keep it clean (applies to any checkout ride I guess, though for Chin Red they want to see 9/10ths ).

Thing I noticed most about his car is how good the suspension felt (JRZ, IIRC). Really connected to the track, nicely communicating the grip at each tire. Makes the Cayman R suspension feel a bit lacking for track use, though I still plan to leave it as is.

Ok. Last Spam post about my door panels. I added pull straps today thanks to some inspiration I got at the DE Tech yesterday from Ryan and Charlie. I've really started to appreciate the grommet makers I bought recently. I'm not going to win any awards with this design but it's functional enough.
