Will explore my options but I enjoy driving so I may tow down (Like I said, I need a break from being a nurse;))

besides I am a retired guy on "fixed" income.

Additional DE slots have just become available at the 48 hours of Sebring.

I hope this gives me some relief too. I registered for the DE then bought the race car. I sent in my racing application to PCA and signed up for the race too. The DE was my fall back if I didn't get my license in time. The 48hr Sebring registar picked up on the double registration and emailed me last week stating "I had to pick one or the other" and the tone implied NOW! Got the sense they might cancel me from the DE because of high demand for spots. And my license hasn't been confirmed and I am one of the few that's still "pending" for the race on Clubregistation...... :bang::bang:

How un-deadhead of you

I wouldnt worry about the liscensing stuff unless you have medical issues
I got mine like the week of the summit club race and just had an email to print out to confirm the liscense was accepted. If your worried send Susan Shire and email and check in...she responds rediculously fast (UNLIKE YOUR DRIVING:twisted: yes your driving not the car as Randy proved...just dont flick me off when you pass me in the enduro or ill go to the steward)

I know Susan's slammed! And somehow never got my application or voicemail following up on it. All is good because I've resent it and she's got it.

Medical's good but Susan says I need an eye exam. My doc just noted that my eyes were good but didn't include vision results. Called my eye doctor, the great folks at Pearle Vision, and they won't send me my last exam because I haven't had an exam in over a year; it's been 14 months. :bang:

Sent my renewal in December. Even pointed out to her that the 2012 form wasn't up yet (she fixed that 2 days later). Still haven't got it but not worried... yet.

If the doc didn't do a color blindness test, you would have had to go back anyway.
