Best quote of the weekend. I was instructing at the autocross today. Robbie pulls up for his runs. He's never seen the course. I ask him if I can ride along.

Me: Want me to give you some course guidance since you haven't seen the course yet?
Robbie: No, that wouldn't be necessary :shock:

And it wasn't. Love the confidence. Had a blast riding along!

One word of warning for everyone. Don't use Toyo R888Rs if you have a 911. We lost count of how many failed over the weekend. No blowouts but four or more developed huge, largest I've ever seen, air tumors on the inside rears.

I think we figured out they were all 295's, and all 3 from the same batch- I think it was AM4316.

Yeah VERY discouraging. My NTO1 are pretty much shot and I was seriously considering giving the 888R a try. Oh well guess I will now just have to go Hoosier. :twisted:
