Eastern Shore Virginia usually refers to this side of the Bay, assuming you mean the western side of the bay!!

Psst - this is the Eastern Shore of Virginia. They get unreasonably upset when people misidentify them for some reason. ;-)

My brother lives in the third house from the southern tip.....I prefer to call it "The Land that Time Forgot"......fun down there though!

Within walking distance of his house, there are the remains of the concrete structure the USMIL erected in WWII to house 15" or 16" guns to protect the mouth of the Chesapeake/Norfolk NB from German u-boats. Unreal how thick the concrete is! They never did fire the big guns, but when they test fired a 5" gun, it allegedly broke all the windows of closeby houses.

Thanks Denis. Ends up I just found someone who is going to bring the parts up and drop them at OG this week. Nice and close to home

I've driven Rt. 13 through the Eastern Shore of VA many times. Ahhh, the smell of the chicken processing plants! Somewhere along the way there is a downtrodden mobile home park with a big sign that says "Dreamland." Always thought those people needed to start dreaming a little bigger.

Weather looks AMAZING compared to some of the recent track-day storms that have occurred.

I just spent an hour juicing oranges for the sangria... getting into my happy place. :)

Does anyone who is coming to SP out there in dorki-land have a ridiculously long extension cord that we could borrow to power the tent on Saturday?

I can bring a couple long cords on Friday. They are homeowner grade, so limited to 15 amps or so.
