I'm in, depending on decided date and time - will bring beer and/or snacks.

Sunday June 15. This is Father's Day. Are other fathers like me and could not care less about "fathers day" ?

(EDIT) Fathers day it is. The other date is Mr Bock's BBQ and not to be messed with.

Andy C and SMD please chime in and let me know if Fathers day looks OK. I like it as it is an excuse to the famly unit. "I have to go play with cool tools and drink beer, its Fathers Day!"

BTW Why is Tech not on the Potomac Calendar?

June 15th (now) works best on my calendar.

I have a 220V MIG I could bring if would be helpful (that whole "the more the merrier" thing....). I'm ashamed to admit I've yet to use it, so a class would definitely do me some good. I also have helmet, goggles, gloves, and some scrap metal pieces I could bring.

Thanks for offering up the opportunity!!

Either day works for me. Also scheduled for that day: the Dorki BBQ in Great Falls starting at noon, and that morning is a PCA breakfast meeting I believe in Maryland.

smdubovsky 06-03-2008 02:37 PM

I can do either day.

15th works for me.

My FD request is already in. My family is conditioned to resist the temptation to shop Nordstroms etc. They know that Longacre, OG Racing, CDOC and Graingers are my fave department stores.

15th works for me, too.

LOL. My family doesn't even try to buy me tools anymore. We passed "maybe he needs some screwdrivers" sometime in the early 90s and my wife has recently come to terms with why I need multiple copies of tools she didn't even know existed. I'm actually just happy to have someone make me breakfast one day a year.

15th it is. Noon till whenever. Food at 1:30. Welding as long as we like. I will rewrite the OP tonight. Lets burn some metal, talk cars and laugh.
