Good to hear you had a good time at the event. HPDC should have a warning label though. ***WARNING*** Track events are highly addictive.
Tell me about it Chris. Count me in for the next DE that's available, besides Mid-Ohio even though it looks like an awesome track.

After 2 DE's I really got hooked. I was comfortable enough with the madness to really learn something. For me at least, I was so overwhelmed with line, braking, shifting, traffic and so on for the first event it was almost work. After I settled in though it's sooo much fun. Looking back the first HPDC I did was such a great experience I wish everyone could try it out.

Great job Potomac PCA for putting on such a valuable and fun event!

Here are some nice "tow of shame" photos. In a matchup between my SC and newer metal, what my SC lacks in speed, it makes up for in tow-ability.

BTW: That's not a smile, it's a grimace.

my SC does a very random, and now very infrequent, no-start. i think it has to do with the connections at the fuse panel like there is corrosion in the connections. it's really scary ($ ) to turn the key and ...... nothing.

Jim, I have been there before! If it is something electrical, it could be a faulty relay socket or a relay. Also as you said it could be the fuse box, check for any green on the end of the wires. My SC's wiring in the fuse box had some corrosion. Another thing to look at is the ignition switch. It also never hurts to swap a CDI box or a coil. If it is fuel related, then it's a whole different world. Good luck.

Steve man - sucks about your car. What is it with CDI boxes and HPDCs? Some dude in a purple long hood lost his at mine!

Be careful, Pari... we got some FEWC guys hanging around now. You're liable to come out of your house one moring and find your engine has been ripped out through the decklid and stuffed in the trunk backwards.

Please Chris, you know the FEWC people don't stand a chance against the SCWDP(excluding Tony).
