Impressive. What's even more impressive to me is how tidy the garage is.

I like your definition of a hybrid

Umm, it is a proper use of the word. Nothing is being redefined.

Or maybe just some folks narrow interpretation of the term should be? :p Lest I start finding batteries when I bite into navel oranges...

You get enough bridge work you will find a battery when you bite into acidic citrus.

So I finished the exhaust system.

I coated the exhaust manifolds with Ceracote.

Going from two 2.5" pipes in to one 3"

The steering column goes between the 2 down pipes.

Also got it started up for the first time.

Now I can start to sort all wiring and hoses out, finish up the brakes and clutch, and clean up the engine compartment.

Cheers

Engelbert said "I coated the exhaust manifolds with Ceracote."

What is this and where do I find it?

Tried Google and only got "Cerakote" which seems to be for the "tactical" firearms crowd.

I've been wanting to do a coating on a Ducati exhaust for some time.

Same stuff/company. They have a motorsports website here:
https://www.cerakotehightemp.com/finishes/
AFAIK, Same stuff just marketed different (they started w/ the motorsports stuff first IIRC.) It works well. I have sprayed both the air cure colors and microslik. Colors are very tough if applied correctly. My testing of the durability w/ microslick on moving parts isn't as conclusive but the cleanliness/application/etc in my case wasn't nearly as thorough. It is quite slippery when new though.
