Adding solid engine mounts and solid trans mounts to the build.
Dr. Chan seems to think ~650lbs of drivetrain will move around a lot at high lateral g given the soft stock mounts, as they are designed for some modicum of comfort. COMFORT! Well, we'll be having none. Of. That. Seems a reasonable concern. Also, it'll feel more #racecar and thusly more badass when my fillings are shaken loose in the middle of 17 at Sebring next year. |
