I just got back from Ponte Vedra, Fla. It's about one hour North of Daytona. It took me 8.5 hours to get from there to to Richmond. We made awsome time up till then. That's when we hit the "brick wall" (stop and go trafic) :x It took us 3.5 hours to get from Richmond to Falls Church. I've done it before in 1.25 hrs. without trafic. I think if you leave at the right time, you should be able to make the trip in 11 hrs with stops. I should say I was running radar the whole way. Trafic is the determining factor. I do my D.C. to Orlando road trip every year. My fastest time has been 11 hrs door to door. My slowest, brace your self,...22hrs. :shock: After that one I needed a week to recover. The best time to leave is noon, because you miss all the major cities' rush hours.
