Re: Any takers?
Mr. Deere:
Silglyd silicon lube is utilized when superior lubrication of o-rings is required upon installation of same. Case in point . . . brake piston caliper o-rings, oil return tube o-rings, OIL COOLER o-rings, and the like. Very truely yours, Mr. Counselor |

Dates
Hey Marc,
Are we on for the 19th. Just wanted to check in with you so that I know what day I can start marinating the meat :). Chris/Andrew Thanks for your offers. I'll keep it in mind. |
Vu:
We are ok for the 19th. The valves should not be a problem, not as easy as if the engine was out, but that's not an option. As for the oil return tubes, we will know Sat once I can look under there with the heat exchangers on. I would like to start at 9:00 am on Sat. Anyone that wants to see how not to adjust valves and how not to install the collapsable oil return tubes come on by. 8) PM me for directions as I am not as brave as Jim is. |
Great!
Sounds good Marc. I'll give you a ring today to work out the logistics. Besides the parts, food, and beverages, should I bring anything else? Ie. tools?
|
Nope . . . don't need a thing.
Thanks |
Can't Wait
I'm really looking forward to this Saturday. Just wanted to drop a line to see how many members may be stopping by. I want to make sure I have enough food and beverages.
I'll see Marc on Friday and the rest of you early Sat morn. |
I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I need to install a new starter in my Carrera that day, so maybe we really make a party of it.
|
Sorry fellas but unless you are going to be working into the late afternoon I'm out of action due to a family activity.
Good luck with everything and don't worry Vu, your car will be in great hands. |
I should be able to make it this weekend.
