I think I mentioned some of the details in previous posts, but the top end was rebuilt in the last 50K miles and has always been solid since I bought it three years ago. It was maintained by Genady at GT Performance and was previously owned by Pete Tremper who is the DE Chief for the NJ region.

Let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Thanks,

Bump. Engine Still available. Make an offer. Will consider trade for Browning Citori 12/20/28 combo. :)

You can get a 3.6 in there, so probably.

Bump. Gonna have to move it out of it's nice warm garage space and under a tarp so I can get the convertible in for winter. Make an offer and show up with a pickup.

I have the perfect spot, a 71 914 that you can stuff it in :)

Plus 2 thought this one was more elegant

Somebody used to make an adapter for this but suspect it's mostly bolt-in. Transaxle is plenty strong enough for 3.6 power. IIRC original '65 vairs were 2.7 ltrs. but only had ~140 HP top unless turbo charged. Nice Yanko at Turkey Bowl this year!

Frank, post pics of your '65.

ROOM, you have plenty of room!!! Build a shop on the lower part of the property and you’ll have lots of space for projects.
