Fabulous weekend. Big thanks to KFJ for the trailer. Thanks to Kurt and Bob Mulligan for the right seat time. Once a year at VIR isn't enough. I'm going to have to find another event to attend during the year.

Audi Club is having a DE in mid-November. You should come on out.

mscheidt, Carolinas PCA is hosting a three day DE at VIR starting on November 19. Registration starts on September 20 at "www.clubregistration.net". I've run a number of events with them at CMP and VIR. Their a good group.

Dr K, I'm relatively new to Porsches and very new to this board. I live in Richmond and am interested in finding good shops here to work on my car. In your post above, you indicated you got some help from "Scott and his buddies" here in the Richmond area. Would you mind giving me some contact information on Scott? Thanks.

Are you taking snacks and drinks for the Oak Tree flagger? I suggested to Paul that he pick you up on the cool down lap!

Great weekend at VIR. Finally after 6 days I feel I know the line, but not how to drive it fast. Weather and companionship were outstanding. Especially enjoyed the visit with DR. Thanks to Steve, Rod, and Dan for riding along and tuning me in to the track. Highlight of the weekend was getting a ride in Gary Church's car. WOW, now I know what warp speed is. I'm still in wonder at Gary's car control skills and the magnificent machine that he has built. All the rest of us are just walking.

Because of that ride, I had the confidence that my car was more capable than I was giving it credit for{or maybe it was driving talent}. Either way, I gained 11 mph through the upper S's and picked up speed going through Hog Pen as well. The entry into T14 is a blast, and the front straight at the tower is where my car is hitting the sweet spot in boost in 5th gear up to the braking point, YEEHAA!!

The track walk was informative and fun, thanks to Dan and Ed for that. Interesting what you don't see from the car. Thanks to the Pagonis family for the great company and the shade and space in their trailer. Dave from Mount Airey, nice visiting with you. Brian and Mia, always fun to see you both. Fatih, come ride with me next time at Summit.

Looking forward to seeing you all in October.
