Okay today Porsche is cashing in a bit. Apparently they are keeping most of the stocks but making about 1.5 billion Euros 'play money' by selling a few stocks to the short buyers.

Also, Porsche stock rallied 35% overnight.

So now Porsche is the best short on the market. lol. :p

Volkswagon was yesterday. :p

I read that BBC link, where the hedge funds are apparently appealing to Germany for sympathy. The nerve of those f#ckers is unreal.

I want to be perfectly clear. Porsche followed the rules of the German market 100%.

The reason they didn't disclose the deal and were coy about it ahead of time is because they obviously didn't want to overpay for the stock, and more importantly, THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO!

as Porsche owners, what does this mean to us? is Porsche now going to sell us OEM parts at reasonable prices? are they going to release a more-affordable entry-level sports car???

Yeah, that's my point. All of this 'good fortune' has no real impact on us Porsche owners

The only impact could be that Porsche stays in business a little longer ;)
