Ah, sweet. I checked for the "newest member" and saw it was someone else. I assumed he hadn't made it yet. :p

I'm working on the big annual Fall Rennlist, 6Speedonline, Dorkiphus Meet, Drive & Dine now... I'm looking at a Sunday in October, probably the 14th... I will be posting that soon...
Also, if you've never been to a club race... On Saturday, October 6th I've put together a tour to Summit Point via some EXTREMELY twisty backroads... Saturday they run the sprint races which are a blast to watch... Excellent opportunity for all of us to show our support, make some excellent contacts and watch some neat Porsches race... I'll be posting the info this week... It's was GREAT seeing everyone today... Too bad my wife showed up and took her RS4 away from me :( ... Oh well, I had a blast finding some nice roads on the way home from VA... Thanks for the pictures... |
Sorry I missed it. I went for a bike ride which turned out to be about 2 hours longer than I expected (didn't get back until after noon, then had "chores" to do...).
Well, next time. Peter |
I attended and had an excellent time. The 996 Turbo contingent was out in force with at least 8... I lost count after 8 turbos anyway.
Brian's brother arrived in style in a 997 Targa he said was barely a month old (I think). He parked next to my 80SC Targa and it was really cool to be able to to make the side-by-side comparo of two white targas...then and now. Of course, a 997 is a 997 and it doesn't matter much targa or not. Awesome cars and something I have as my "reach" goal.... :D...reaching maybe 10 years from now! I did take a certain amount of pride that my SC was the oldest P-car in attendance. Next was Brian's 87 944, followed by Bruce Mackliets 92 911 Cup. |
Sorry I missed as well! Soccer got in the way again but we kickes some arse so thats something. Did you guys take a run somewhere?
