Yeah, my 935 titanium axles are bent, too.

Good news man, glad to hear insurance isnt a total waste after all. Your plan sounds complicated, but will surely result on a fine specimen when you are finished.

Good idea on having Euro Slows give you an estimate. I wonder how long that will take? :(

For an estimate? I'm sure they can do that in 3 weeks or so, assuming they don't get the wrong paper from Germany and have to order other paper.

Nah, they'll get you an estimate in a reasonable amount of time. It's when they start ordering parts that things slow down.

The way my coverage works is that there's a $10K max payout for an uninsured motorist. I don't think the question of whether the car is "totaled" figures into things, and furthermore, the question of the level of damage is not certain until the car goes up on the Celette to see if the torsion tube is bent.

How the hell do I transport the car around to get estimates? It won't even go up on a flatbed -- the RR wheel flops all over the place.

A dolly should get the rear to move around, at least up on a rollback.

You could probably have someone from the bodyshop come out and do the estimate at your place...

This might help?

Hi Noah,

If you can borrow Dave's trailer, I'm happy to tow your car to VT and back. Alternatively, you are welocome to use my tow vehicle for the trips up and back.

Let me know!
