:oops: Should have understood that from your previous post. I'm beat from loong day. Sorry, don't know @ what pressure it activates. Pretty sure its close to zero.

Thicker oil might help if it's not the sensor (20 / 50). Before I had my engine rebuilt it always had low oil pressure. It read zero or very close to it at idle but never seemed to effect the engine. Ran strong for years like that. The thickest synthetic oil available then (5 years ago) was Amsoil 20/50. Expensive stuff but I could tell longevity of the oil based on the oil pressure and the Amsoil definitely lasted a lot longer the anything else I tried.
