Well.... I got my yard work done...

Sorry for you guys that were dissapointed.

Pari any luck on my engine mount?
I owe Rick Lee $25 can you give that to hime when you go next weekend and maybe get me a T-shirt at the track next week? (XL, grey, long if they have it?)
We can settle up when you get back.
Thanks "Agent P"

it wasn't as great as I had expected, but it was still fun to do.... once

found my 15x7's at $30 each (not quite the deal Aubrey gave me at $25, but close enough)

other than that, I also got stuff that could have been ordered online, but for me it was just as much about "going and seeing" than anything else.

oh, and the Rennline-girl was pretty nice too...

I had a good time, but I agree that the swapmeet could have been better. Some of the stuff I thought I would find easily was nowhere to be seen - and one vendor I asked about my must haves actually told me that whenever he gets the parts I was looking for, he posts them on ebay because 'people like me' bid the auction up through the roof.

Another thing was that most of the vendors were horribly disorganized. A lot of them couldn't tell me whether or not they had what I was looking for. They probably did, but who's going to spend an hour looking through 10 parts bins to find a switchblank?

I asked Stable Energies if they carried a short shifter for my car. They do, and had them on-hand, so I bought one. The guy I asked said "Geez, if we had put some of these out there maybe we'd have sold some."
Ya think?

Anyway, John, thanks for the space, and it was nice to meet some of the locals. I got about an hour and a half of sleep the night before, so if I seemed out of it, I'm sure I probably was...

So, I take it from the response to this thread that most of you won't be going to the parade/swapmeet in a few months?

Bill, unfortunately I wasn't able to find any of the parts you were looking for. Hershey just didn't have the used parts selection I was expecting.

Thanks anywayfor trying! These are really wish list and not must have.
Anyone got a rear motor carrier and cross bar they didn't sell at Hershey?

Yeah,it was fun. Got to see a Carrera GT in person and finally got to meet some of dorkies and shot some schiats. Picked up a long hood with front upper lock for $25 :D . Missed out on Ted's ss braided brake lines when I came back fron putting away the long hood. It was worth the drive up. Andy
