I like that....and I agree with Kurt. This year's should go to Richard.

I have an idea how we can present this I'll talk to others offline.

This years has to go to RL, hands down. Jim even called it!
Besides who said Dorkiphus is a democracy, we don't need no stinking votes, we have ties to Florida and Texas .

RL, you kill me man! Even when your car is wrecked, you manage to continue adding mods. There's gotta be some kind of Dorki award for this.

It was written.......

I just stumbled across this one and must say I'm honored and humbled. I followed the instructions for cookies and still can't get to the survey. Oh well. I think I'm just gonna go downstairs and rip out my a/c for the hell of it. Waiting on parts from Pelican and Best Foreign Auto. The UPS man is my friend.

BTW, why do I get all the hazing, when Jim takes a concourse, stock '73E and throws more money and effort into it than I did into my beater 993? Anyway, you guys should see my perfect SC. It will be a $30k car in no time  !

I think Richard just nominated Jim as the reciepient of next year's award. Then we will have to call it "Richardsitis award", and it still commemorates RL  .

Bump....

Be sure to vote. Voting will close Friday night Nov. 19th. This will allow me time to assemble the awards.

My mods make the car go faster, handle better, and brake quicker.
RL, you're the pimpster! :P

So do Richard's, and so do mine. The LeShandleritis award is for those who take a perfectly good car in working condition and tear it apart to <ahem> upgrade. In this sense, you're as much a contender as Richard is! But, c'mon now - he has to get the award in its inaugural season. Don't worry, Jim - so far you're a shoe in for next year. :D

Unless, of course, Richard goes nuts on the SC. Should be an interesting 2005.

how about a rule you can only "win" once......

Hmm.. might be a good idea. Otherwise someone might dominate the award every year. ;)

Jim Richards 11-16-2004 11:10 AM

I think that winning more than once is OK. RL's incentive to mod should never be stunted.

Just voted, finally!

There are some great categories there, so these awards should be a hoot!
