????? You remember how to race? Whats it been, 5-6 years?
Just run it in H, no will will notice or care about the big brakes.

But you ran it in H last year

But really, I just want some podium stickers. I learned it from goodhands.

.

You've never even podium'd at a DE.

GTB1 is a great class and that is the right car for it. Not sure you have the right people working on it though. The shops in the northeast are way more experienced at cheating...

It's the land of cheaters. Why would any shop be different

It's why I need to go racing. DE has become way too competitive.

Why would anyone cheat? Nobody cheats. There's no cheating in Club Racing. That's preposterous! Take that back!! I SAID GOOD DAY SIR :drums:

But I hear that it's too hot in Scott's car so he may not be able to take the DE championship this year. :)

DE has become an arms race. You've got to go out and get an LMP car with turn signals to be competitive these days.

Don't count on it. And definitely get in - you're basically guaranteed a podium sticker!!

I agree--at the VIR Club Race DE last month there were not one, but two Daytona Prototype cars.

This past weekend I flagged the SCCA PDX on the Shenandoah and a novice showed up with a 1966 (continuation car) Ford GT40. Beautiful car and although it sounded very nice it was disappointing to see it so slow in my section (checker flag station). Being a right hand drive car with only small window ports I was wondering how he gave passing signals but my station was in a no passing zone for the novice group.

Also of interest last weekend was a fast and well driven Ford Fairmont with a V-8 engine and a stealthy Miata with a V-6 engine swap.

Another Scott,

But winning the DE is all about the Human Achievement:Car Capability Ratio. No glory in under driving a beast. When we came out to watch the OneLap this year the guy in the Toyota MiniVan was FASTER than the Porsche 918...no THAT is the way to win a DE.

And of course you have to wear mirrored shades...just ask Scott
