Too bad he used cheap squared off turbo fenders.

Bump. Great car still available. Lots of dreamers and guys who don't have their wives' permission to spend $29k...LOL. Where are all the decent Porsche air-cooled buyers?

YankeeHatah 08-22-2016 10:42 PM

Price reduction to $26,000 firm, no trades.

Sale pending

Sale pending...take 2, to a non-dorki. Car may be going back to das Vaterland. I could be 2 for 2 selling 911's back to Europe. Oh well.

If it falls through, I'll be back, again.

Where did you advertise the car to get an overseas buyer?

YankeeHatah 08-31-2016 09:23 AM

Advertising Your Car

David:

I did:

* Pano- decent interest, but mostly interested in original condition w/ no defect types of cars. Mine is a driver, so none of those panned out. If your car's a 10 out of 10, then this may be a good place.
* Here - had decent local interest and "first" buyer, but unfortunately had to back out
* Pelican - decent interest but few local hits, so no lookers. Your ad is constantly "gone" from view w/out constant bumps; but decent international view/leads.
* Cars.com - most interest generated and where I believe the buyer sourced from, but lots of dreamers and tire kickers from this source. Post w/ care.
* CraigsList - more interest than Pano, but the same type of leads as Cars.com. Same advice; post with care.

Hope this helps.
John

It does thanks

YankeeHatah 08-31-2016 03:55 PM

Car is sold and on a truck to FL for shipment overseas. Thanks for all who had interest.

If you have a 3.2-based car that would make a good donor for an ST-clone, let me know.

Best,
John
