Great looking car!

I like the Hollow.

Cups but buy back some phone dials. It just looks right on that car.

+1 for the hollows. Somehow gives the car a more contemporary flair. Very pretty car!

This is the same thing for the 87 Cab with the Cup 1 wheels, Some people like it, some tell me it doesn't look right. I just wanted to do something different.

Here it is with Cup 1

Anyway, I like your car with the Cup and the Hollow Spokes.

Cups (even over the phone dials).

I always thought it'd be cool for someone to make Phonies in 17" or 18". I like the look, but the 951 really needs lower-profile tires.

And for the record, well-kept 951 prices have started going up quite substantially recently. I think they're riding the coattails of the 911 bubble, but now that they're getting old/rare enough, they are increasing in popularity regardless.

I apologize to the purest. I too think a low profile and wider tire gives the car a better stance. I like the Cup 1 but they are heavy and still don't fill out the fenders that well. Phone dials are a mute point now that they are gone.

That said, I will keep my cup 1's for a while to see if I have buyers' remorse. I had originally planned to sell them. Ahh... Another thing taking up precious garage space... Lol.

PD's, then Cup1s. Of note, two nice 951s have sold on BAT Auctions recently for $20K give or take. I'd say 944/951 collector-dom is approaching as those kids who had these cars as posters on their walls can actually afford them, compared to the aircooled cars ;)
