Still for sale.

Thought it was sold three weeks ago. Took a down payment and told prospects it was sold. Even turned down offers for more money. Guy bailed yesterday stating "a personal crises has arisen" hours before he was supposed to pick it up.

Grrrr

I'm sorry to hear that; I'm sure you'll still be able to sell. She's a real peach!

I am aware of those things but feel they are worth while upgrades.

1. I have used a variety of plug wires and those (Magnacore) are the best.
2. I disagree that the silver warm tube is incorrect (maybe it's just been that way for 30 years)
3. The H4 headlights, definitely an upgrade (with correct sugar scoops)
4. I thought about adding the sound pad but like the sound

So that’s my rational. Ditto for the pressure fed chain tensioners. If someone wants to make those relatively minor changes, more power to them. I purposaly chose not to.

See, this is why I don't personally place the same level of value on an "all original" car that our friends in the Concours world do. Those are definitely worthwhile upgrades in my opinion. Car is better now than it was, more fun, more safe, and it has not compromised the "essence" of what it originally was.

In my mind, I'd pay more for those kind of upgrades. But apparently they're seen as a detractor.

Weird.

Beautiful car.

Thanks Collen.

I obviously agree. Not concourse but not too far away. It killed me putting on the old tires. Looks great but handling is not close to the more modern, wider, lower profile tires. Think I am going to put the other wheels back on (I have two sets).

Wish someone local would step up. Still cost less than a new car. Is unique, easier to work on, probably out performs and will increase in value.
