Here's what I've purchased thus far..
four oil return tubes and a valve cover gasket set with nuts etc.
Am I missing anything else? |
Two cases of Pabst pounders, 12 qts. of oil of your choice, an oil filter, two crush washers and I think o-rings for the return tubes.

Cool....
Consider all purchases done!

I'm not much of a help mechanically wise, but I can assist in the eating, drinking, and making runs to the beer store. |

I have a compressor
Hi Vu,
I have a compressor, Sears, 30 gallons that can be pick up in a van or an SUV to the location needed in case you need it. I also have the cab 993 and boxter top replacement manual for you that I promissed a while ago. Let me know if you'll need a compressor. I am in Springfield, VA. Andy |
A couple comments:
1. Most likely, your valve cover gasket set came wityh the oil change crush washers. Check first before you buy more. 2. You don't need to remove the cat to get to the lower left valve cover, but removing the heat shield does help. I left mine off as I don't often park in tall dry grass. In fact, I don't think I could find dry grass around here if I tried. 3. I think oil change, valve adj, oil return tube and lowering is a bit much for one day. Go with the first three and some grilling for one day, save the lowering for another. My plan is to do suspension renewal along with the lowering, so I don't have to keep getting the car realigned. 4. If Marc's house in unavailable, you're all welcome at mine. I have a decent stock of tools (including air tools), a neighbor who has most of what I don't, and a very nice Weber Silver B gas grill :). July 12 would be the next available date. |
