Bump! Price reduced in original post! Make me an offer!

smdubovsky 08-16-2011 12:57 PM

Im still interested in the trans. Have cash, can pull:)

Fritz 09-12-2011 12:07 PM

Engine still available and price is reduced. Dorki discount is an extra $100 off what it's listed on elsewhere.

Stephen, the tranny is all yours. When you want to do the dirty work. :)

Can one do compression and leak down tests on an engine sitting on a pallet? Can you hand crank it, or just hook up the starter? Having never done it nor having the tools to do it myself, I'm just trying to determine how hard of a deal it is as inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Could do a leak down, (hand crank) but compression test would require some crafty wiring.

If the trans/starter is still attached you can do a cold compression test. Oh yeah you'd need a battery too. Guy that bought my engine did one before handing over the cash.

He did have a cool switch button to make it easier though.

Fall price savings! $2,200 and I'll even help lift it into your truck. Come and get it this weekend and be ready for the last DE of the season. :)
