Thank you.

I wonder if Brian Hair was on a bicycle, that's the worst time I see him run at Summit?

FWIW regarding the Boxsters, I've clocked Cindy in a bone stock Boxster S with RA1's at 1:29's. IMHO, a race prepped Boxster should be able to run under 1:26.

Looks cool, but for that $$ I would just build out my 996

I agree, Brian is pretty quick but I think he was driving his specrx7

Tony, that is more like it. On paper I think 25s and 24s, which would make them a good car for NASA GTS2 as well.

Got a pretty big difference in the 2.5 vs 3.2 though??

pjalexandre 11-11-2009 09:39 AM

201hp vs 249-255hp depending on years. Not that much actually considering the SpecBoxster weights 2350lbs nekkid

I am curious about the 2 werkstatt SpecBoxsters that attended and if there were any other SpecBoxsters there? #186 and #187.

The times I saw online never got better than 1:28.3 and 1:29.1 and everyone else was about as fast as ever.

Drivers? or Cars? is what I am trying to figure out from anyone who was there.

Thanks!

I was there running my GTS2 GTI... 1:26.3 was my best... I passed the boxsters a couple times, one of them on the front straight... Seemed like I pulled on him pretty good coming out of 10 and then was even just past start/finish... broke way later and got by on the inside of 1 pretty easily.. I think he gave me the last bit under braking a bit, but I definitely ran away once I go in front...

GTI is 162 hp and 2380 lbs (with me in it at end of 25 min race)...
