Great weekend! Weather was outstanding! In class, won both sprints and the enduro. Track conditions were perfect for qualifying..72 and cloudy. Put on a fresh set of hoosiers and ran a 2.06.4. Beat the H class record by over 3 seconds. My best rolling lap was a 2.05.8. Starts were interesting. H was the bottom class in the group, but I qualified mid pack for all the races. Green would drop, and I get run over by GT3s, GTRS's, RSRs, GTS3s, and Cup Cars. Each start I think I lost 5-10 positions. And although I qualified 1st in H, in one sprint and the enduro ended up 2nd because of lane I chose. Everyone dove to the inside, and the outside cars gained 4-5 rows. Had to battle back and gain 1st. Enduro stop was a clusterfvck. Since they combined enduros, Charlie had 12 cars to support with just him and Art. Luckily Clarke and Sly suited up and helped...thanks. Came in and there was no one to fuel the car. Didnt start fueling until a minute into it. Stop took an extra 10 seconds, and never had a chance to grab a drink or re hookup my cool suit. Getting out of car after race I practically passed out! Thanks Evan for dumping water and ice on me to cool me down. Great to see many of the Intersport drivers win and set class records! Clark kicked some ass against the cup cars in his stock GT3. Thanks to Charlie, Art, and Omar at Intersport for the weekend. Car worked perfect, so it was nice change not to have them tweaking it all weekend! Here's a couple videos.

First one is during practice where I almost hit a 997 RSR while passing him. Closest I've come yet. Wasn't sure he saw me, so entering corner I was was prepared to dart left if need be...and it was needed! Talked to him afterwards and he didn't know I was there.

Qualifying... Fast lap starts at 4:30 mark. was getting dogged by a cup car which slowed me down a bit.

Sprint 1 get freight trained during the start, have to battle back to get first in H, then end under double yellow after J class GT3 crashes at the top of the esses....then another J class rear ends a turbo while under the double yellow.

Sprint 2. Run over at the start again, then follow a GT3RS the whole race.

Last few laps of the enduro. My gas gauge said I had a quarter tank left but it was very wrong.

First sprint. Took me a few laps to get around a GT3RS then pulled away for a 1st place class win.

Huge thanks and appreciation to Charlie and Art from Intersport for helping me replace a broken axle, in less than an hour, to allow me to race in Sprint 2. Unreal! And David Dean for helping me a lot and feeding many!

Some fun stuff here chasing down Clark in both races while we're dealing with GTC4&5 and GTA1 cars that were hard to tough to shake and pass. I didn't have the power but luckily my brakes worked okay. :)

Yeah, my starts suck! But I was trying real hard to keep my cool so I could finish the weekend clean and get my license.

Sprint 1 - ends with a broken axle.

didn't you once pass me in my GT3 at VIR in your Cayman? Maybe you should race that car.

actually I think I passed you in sprint 2 since you started in front of me in that race...

No doubt! Only wish we had more locals around us. Met Dwayne this weekend and look forward to running with him if I can. Frustrating weekend on almost every level but cannot wait to do it again. :D You bringing the K car to Summit?

Maybe one day you will get a chance to finish a race. Glad it wasn't any major.
