Look kid, you've obviously got alot to learn about manners. This isn't your subie forum where you go off in tangent when you don't agree with something. Wipe your shoes or take them off before entering my house. Instead you come here with a bigger ego than any of us spouting off about how you are an internet guru and crap on how you know so much about running bbs's. That's cool and all but this isn't your bbs,and this isn't your house. Be a little more humble and present your opinion in a discussion rather than a rant and rave. and with that... I'll retreat into my little corner of the internet... I urge you all to read on in that post though. While i have never met a lot of you (some I'm sure i have) I'm sure i pissed you all of with what i have said.

1) i was mad, so i generalized and steriotyped the "porsche community"
2) I'm very adament about my views on the internet, very few things are free in life, and i think free knowledge should be charished more than anything.
3) Look where I'm comming from, I have had the "free ride" on every car i have owned, and have never needed to "pay to play" on the internet. I think its a little ironic that only forums I'm no that payment enhances status are the porsche ones.
4) yes, i did let the internet and my anger get the best of me. I should have stopped posting a LONG time ago in this thread but there were some points i wanted to make


You are more than welcome to stay pissed at me, I truly think that if i have really offended any of you that it reflects poorly on myself. However I would like to stay here for a while (dont worry I will not rant here anymore ;)). Also if i have offended any of you I'm very sorry and i hope you all can beleive that I'm not this much of an asshat in person.

Then I watched all the guys help another guy in a Cayman S change his brake pads in between sessions on Sunday. There were about 20 different PCA guys that offered to help, offered tools and advice. Much like the Subaru community would do.

I am a middle aged Porsche owner and at times, much like the rest of us, am an asshat. Boring one too as I was changing the pads on the cayman and not hooking a look at Trixi the trinket of the day. (already had my eye full)

Spazman. Fear not this gang has a way of getting over shit if you drop it and let us have our fun with you first. We have almost all been kicked around here and if you hang around long enough you will likely be kicked around again. Going foward is the key, as was said most of us know each other face to face. We have a tiff, hash it out and get back the the good stuff. I have likely ruffeled more feathers than most and folks have not banned me just yet. (owning many tools helps) Online only Dorki are just as welcome. Think of a local bar and act like you are sitting in one with the rest of the folks here. Enough of us call you an asshole then you ARE being an asshole. Fight Club rules. Shut up, buy a round and lets us all get back to drinking and talking about how slow and rich TD is. Please don't link us to any other sites while discussing this subject. It seems to only draw gnats.

BTW TD is down to 8 Rolexes, He kept leaving one in my shop over the off season when his car was living there. Well made I might add, it survived Michele finding it. But don't tell Todd...;)
