Thanks to you and your family for hosting a great afternoon of learning, socializing and eating!! The welding class was a lot of fun, and I think a bunch of us learned some good stuff. Also, thanks to your assistants/cohorts, Andy & Steve, for providing a lot of insight, assistance & demos. It was also fun putting faces to names, like Tito, Fritz and numerous others. Always a pleasure meeting more Dorkis! :D Pics are forthcoming soon....our internet connection at home has been busted over the entire weekend. :XX Hopefully, things will get back online soon so I can upload. |
Thanks as always Kurt. Its good to put faces to more of the board names. Also, thanks to Andy for showing me OA. Exploding molten metal didn't even seem to phase the onlookers too much...

As was said its is good to put faces to internet names. BTW. in the pending pictures I am playing "Mr. How Not to Dress for Welding." Good to see new and old faces yesterday. To who it may concern. Thanks for the unnecessary but appreciated tip in the coupon bin. It will go towards some argon. |
I ordered a small Millermatic 140 MIG welding setup today. My first project is going to be a welding bench because that was a nice work surface yesterday. I'm determined to be able to do a quality weld by the end of the summer.

Very cool well rounded and well done set of pictures. Thanks for taking and posting them. I will make sure to show the princess her picture. I think I am starting to warm up to big butts...on 911s that is.
