Great event! I had a great time.

Here are some pics I took today. I have quite a few to edit - so it will take me through tomorrow (probably) to get them up. I'll post them in a series of batches - so check back.

Thanks for putting on such a fun event. What a great track -- it really exceeded my expectations. My favorite thing about it was how analytical it forced one to be -- there wasn't just one set line.

It was great meeting many of you for the first time; for those of you I didn't have the chance to meet, I was the red 951 with all the blue tape...lucky #13.

To my knowledge the event went off without any major mishaps. I was able to bring the girlie on the first day and she is officially hooked. Took me by surprise, honestly. So thumbs up guys.

Finally, my sincerest thanks to BMAN, my instructor. I really see why they call you Sensei. I learned some really valuable skills (aside from just learning the damn corners). During my solo runs I was able to concentrate on Brian's blabbering and lather, rinse, and repeat his schoolings in my head.

I got some video as well; will post it up if it's any good. My poor old cybershot has been very fickle lately.

 I never realized the SC corners were so banked.

Good times. Great event. Many, many thanks to all the members of the DE Committee and all the hardworking instructors who made it happen. Particularly the wise instructors (Tuffy and Alan) who rode along with me this weekend.

Well, let's not get crazy now. I did have fun riding behind someone in an X5 on the Instructor orientation laps. There was 4 people in the truck and I started smelling brakes. Looks like they were having fun. :p
