Hi all,
It's been a few years since i sold my SC (boy do i miss it), but i am ready to own another 911. I'm in the market for a 993. I prefer a coupe but will consider a convertible. I need something in good mechanical condition preferably with less than 50k miles.
Please let me know if you you know of anything. I appreciate the help.
Thanks,
-Bryan

Holt is way overpriced. But, if you want to pay in the uper 40's for a 993, they do have some nice cars.

I agree w/ Mike. Holt scooped me on a red/cashmere 95 993 w/ 18's and 50k on the clock. PP listed for $31k. I was the 2nd call Holt was the 1st. Holt listed it w/n a week for $36.5.

Im still bitter...

He tried to sell me a Silver/Black 993 with 60K and LSD for $40K. He wouldn't budge on price b/c he admitted to getting ripped off on the deal. Meanwhile the car had a dented quarter pannel and a (mind you small at the time) rip in the leather. He said that fixed up he would be selling it for 48K.

I have spoken to the owner Walid, and he seems to have a good vision of where he wants the shop to go...they will offer a lot of different things, service, slaes, storage, racing club. I know that one of the Techs, Tim, used to work at Curry's in Sterling up until to the fall.

The owners have sunk a lot of effort and investment into this operation. Looks like they have gone the high road on equipment, including the same Beissbarth in-floor alignment rig that is used by Porsche.

They are definitely interested in engaging the track community, and offering to host Potomac tech inspections [they have already done one for BMWCCA].

Watching a GP in their customer lounge with fellow F1 fans is a great idea, even though its an early start.

Tim Comeau was at Curry's, and at Dr John Sullivan's shop before that. John speaks highly of him. Looks like we might have a good new shop in town. I'm taking my car there for a track alignment once I get the new suspension on. Will let you know what I find.
