944 tow hooks

The tow hook discussions have me thinking again about the need to add them to our 944. Rennlist had a thread recently about KLA Industries new tow hook solution. I'd add a link to the thread, but I don't know how.

What solutions have the local folks used?

Just get a front hook, and make sure you go backwards off the track :)

Hefty trailer axle u-bolts (from tractor supply)- cost about $10. drill through the aluminum bumper cover and then through the aluminum "bar" that attaches to the bumper shocks. Works great for being pulled onto roll-backs or being dragged around the track into the pits. Same solution front and rear.

Not sure how well the bumper shocks would hold up if you were really dug into the gravel sideways, but for being pulled straight out they work just fine.
